Penicillin-streptomycin - amphotericin B mixture (100× triple antibody) Antibacterial spectrum: bacteria, fungi and yeast.
Sometimes the appropriate concentration of antibiotics is added to the cell medium, which can effectively prevent microbial contamination. At present, the most commonly used antibiotic is penicillin-streptomycin mixed solution (100× double antibody). Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution (100× triclonal antibody) is a triclonal antibody specifically used in cell culture and can be directly added to cell culture solution after filtration. Penicillin - streptomycin - amphotericin B mixed solution (100× triple antibody) contained 10kU/ml penicillin, 10mg/ml streptomycin, and 25μg/ml amphotericin B. The solution was prepared with 0.9%NaCl or PBS, and the recommended working concentration of penicillin in the cell culture medium was 100U/ml, the working concentration of streptomycin was 0.1mg/ml, and the working concentration of amphotericin B was 0.25μg/ml, that is, it could be used in 100 times dilution. A package of 100ml penicillin-streptomycin - amphotericin B mixture (100× triantibody) can prepare 10L cell culture solution.
Penicillin-streptomycin - amphotericin B mixture (100× triantibody) can be used in one of the following two ways:
1. Directly add in sterile cell culture medium: add penicillin-streptomycin amphotericin B mixed solution (100× triantibody) at the ratio of 5ml per 500ml cell culture medium and mix well for use.
2. When preparing cell culture medium, add it, and then filter and remove bacteria: when preparing cell culture medium, add penicillin-streptomycin - amphotericin B mixed solution (100× triple antibody) in the ratio of 10ml for each 1L cell culture medium, and then filter and remove bacteria after preparation.
Note:
1. Minimize the number of repeated freezing and thawing, so as not to reduce efficiency.
2. Pay attention to aseptic operation and try to avoid contamination.
3. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves.
