Glutamine is an important raw material for cell synthesis of nucleic acid and protein. In cell culture, glutamine deficiency can lead to poor cell growth and even death. A certain amount of glutamine should be added when preparing most cell culture media. Because glutamine is very unstable in the solution, it should be prepared separately, stored at -20℃ and added to the culture medium before use. Glutamine should be re-added when the culture medium with glutamine is stored at 4℃ for more than two weeks. The concentration of glutamine solution produced by Solarbio is 200 mM, which has been filtered and sterilized, and it can be directly used for cell culture and other purposes, there is no need for filtration and sterilization before use.
Note: Crystal precipitation is easy to occur during cryopreservation, which does not affect the properties of the product. After thawing, the mixed solution can be used after clarification and transparency.
