A 83-01 is an effective TGF-β Inhibitors of type I receptors ALK5, ALK4, and ALK7. A 83-01 can block the phosphorylation of Smad2 and inhibit TGF-β Induced epithelial mesenchymal transition. A 83-01 can inhibit the proliferation of organoids. It is generally used for liver, prostate and other organoid cultures.
