Product Introduction
T4gp41DNAHelicase is one of the three major helicases encoded by the T4 phage genome. It is a replicative helicase, that is, it can guide the extension of the DNA leader chain under the action of DNA polymerase (T4gp43). Gp41 helicases belong to SF4 family of helicases and prefer 5 '-3' direction. In addition to unwinding, gp41 can also form a synthesis with gp61primase that triggers the complex-guided hysteresis chain. Therefore, the gp41 protein is required for the synthesis of lead and delayed strands of DNA, and this property of gp41 is significantly enhanced in the presence of its loadergp59 protein. Gp41 is a highly progressive helicase with a transfer rate of ~500nt/s on ssDNA and a rate of ~250bp/s on dsDNA. This product is a recombinant protein obtained by cloning and recombinant expression.
