Product Introduction
T7 exonuclease acts on double-stranded DNA and catalyzes the removal of 5′ mononucleotides along the 5′→3′ direction. It can start digestion from the end of 5′ or from the cut or gap of double-stranded DNA. It can degrade both 5′ phosphorylated DNA
Also degrades 5′ dephosphorylated DNA. It has been reported to degrade RNA or DNA in the 5′→3′ direction of the RNA/DNA hybrid double strand, but not double - or single-stranded RNA.
Precautions
(1) 1×T7ExoBuffer: 50mMKAc, 20mMTris-Ac, 10mM
Mg(Ac) 2,1 mMDTT (pH7.9@25℃), incubated at 25℃.
(2) The optimal reaction temperature of the enzyme is 25℃, and it can be inactivated for 20min at 75℃.
