Bromocresol green: acid-base indicator. Sodium salts are often used for colorimetric determination of pH. Acid-base indicator, pH 3.8 (yellow) ~ 5.4 (blue). Its sodium brine solution is used for spectrophotometric determination of pH value color rendering.
