Product introduction
The pollen viability directly affects the pollination and fertilization process, and is closely related to the yield of plants. Through the measurement of pollen viability, we can understand the fertility of pollen, and master the morphological and physiological characteristics of infertile pollen. The commonly used methods for pollen viability detection are: pollen germination assay, iodine-potassium iodide staining, TTC staining and peroxidase detection.
The detection principle of this kit is that normal mature pollen grains have strong vitality, and can germinated and grow under appropriate culture conditions. Under the microscope, the number of germinated grains can be directly observed and counted, and the germination ability can be calculated to determine the vitality of pollen.
Precautions
The kit is only used in the field of scientific research, not for clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
