Product Introduction:
The detection of reporter gene is a common method for eukaryotic gene expression regulation research, and bioluminescence method is the most commonly used and effective method for reporter gene detection. Luciferase catalyzes the conversion of substrate luciferin and emits photons. This product provides a rapid, sensitive and stable method for the detection of firefly luciferase reporter gene expression in mammalian cells. It is able to detect luciferase as low as 10-20mol and showed good linearity in the enzyme concentration range of 10-14 to 10-20mol.
Product Characteristics:
1. Rapid: Cell lysis is completed within 10-15 min.
2. Convenience: reagents are easy to prepare and sample detection steps are simple.
3. Sensitivity: it can detect luciferase at the minimum of 10-20 mol.
4. The linear range of enzyme concentration is 8 orders of magnitude.
Precaution:
1. Please immediately centrifugal the product to the bottom of the tube before use, and then conduct subsequent experiments.
2. Temperature will affect the enzyme activity, so all reagents should be left at room temperature before use.
3. The time interval between the mixing of each sample and the assay reagent and before the assay should be consistent if the assay is performed by a single-tube fluorescence detector.
4. The maximum wavelength of bioluminescence catalyzed by firefly luciferase is 560 nm.
5. In order to prevent inter-hole interference, it is recommended to use a white opaque hole plate.
6. For your safety and health, please wear a laboratory coat and wear disposable gloves to operate.
