Product Introduction:
BCECF, AM is a fluorescent dye that can penetrate the cell membrane to detect intracellular pH. BCECF, AM has no fluorescence and upon entry into cells can be cleaved by intracellular esterase to form BCECF, thus being retained in cells. BCECF can be excited to form green fluorescence under appropriate pH conditions. The maximum excitation wavelength and emission wavelength are different depending on the pH, the maximum excitation wavelength is about 503 nm, the maximum emission wavelength is about 520 nm, and the excitation wavelength is 488 nm and the emission wavelength is 535 nm recommended for practical detection.
Uses:
BCECF, AM are widely used not only in the study of mammalian cells, but also in the in vivo pH level measurement of animal tissues, plant cells, bacteria and yeast. In addition, BCECF, AM are also widely used in the process of cytotoxicity, apoptosis, cell adhesion, drug resistance, cell chemotaxis and other processes with intracellular pH changes.
