Concentration: 0.2mg/mL Streptavidin is a tetramer protein with a high affinity for biotin. Streptavidin-labeled phycoglobin was used to stain PNA postcode microarrays to produce fluorescence signals. The product reacts specifically with the antiserum of the antibiotic protein streptomycin, but not with the antiserum of the antibiotin.
In flow cytometry, streptavidin-labeled phycoglobin can be used in combination with biotinizing agents in the asbiotin protein/biotin labeling system.
