Product Introduction

B-27 is a serum-free additive optimized to support the growth and maintenance of activity of hippocampal neurons and other central nervous system (CNS) neurons in embryos, postpartum, and adults. B-27 additive is available in liquid form at 50X working concentration

Application

The additive B-27 is used in the neuron base medium for the culture of prenatal and embryonic neurons for optimal activity and long-term survival. The use of B-27 additive in neuron base medium for the culture of neuron-derived tumor cell lines can effectively ensure their activity. The addition of B-27 additive to DMEM/F12 medium has been shown to support the expansion of EGF-responsive precursor cells from the striatum and midbrain of mouse embryos.

Precautions

Defrost this product at 4 ℃, and the prepared complete medium can be stored for one week at 2-8 ℃ away from light.
