Agar in the gel state, will show some mechanical properties of the solid (such as elasticity, strength and hardness, etc.), the unit to measure its hardness is called gel strength. The level of gel strength determines the dosage of agar in the culture medium formula. The higher the gel strength, the better the gel performance, the dosage should be reduced; the lower the gel strength, the worse the gel performance, the dosage should be increased. This product is a high gel strength agar powder, suitable for experiments that require solid gel strength, such as plant cell culture.
