Principle:
Tryptone and yeast extract powder are used to provide nitrogen sources, ferric ammonium citrate and sodium sulfite provide reducing properties and produce hydrogen sulfide to make the colony black, polymyxin B and neomycin sulfate can inhibit the growth of non-reducing Clostridium, and agar is the coagulant.
Usage:
Weigh 42.5g of this product, heat and dissolve it in 1000ml distilled water, divide it, 200ml per bottle, autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes, when it is cold to 45-50°C, sterilely add a polymyxin B (4μg) and 1 vial of neomycin sulfate (100μg), mix well, pour into a sterile dish, and set aside.
