It is used in organic synthesis and biochemical studies. The Tas1r3 gene allelic shift affects the taste response to sucralitol. It's a T1R3 receptor ligand.
Slightly sweet, relative sweetness 0.65, cool feeling, low calorific value, about one tenth of the calorific value of sucrose. Melting point 126℃, boiling point 329 ~ 331℃. Dissolved in water. It is easy to crystallize due to its low solubility.
