Description:
Antibiotics for eukaryotic expression screening can be used to screen stable cell lines expressing specific resistance genes. For screening mammalian cells, the recommended initial screening concentration is 400 μg/ml. The recommended initial screening concentration for plant cells is 10 μg/ml. Screening yeast, recommended starting concentration of 500 μg/ml. According to the effect of the initial concentration, the concentration of G-418 can be appropriately increased or decreased.
Feature:
After dissolution, 0.22μm filtration to remove bacteria, divided into small packages, 4℃ can be stored for 12 months, longer storage time at -20℃. The most commonly used storage solution is formulated with 100mMHEPES(pH7.3) at a concentration of 50mg/ml. The advantage of using HEPES formulation is that the addition of storage solution does not change the pH of the culture system.
Solubility:
Soluble in water, methanol, buffer and medium.
