Product Introduction:
Tetracycline is an antibiotic catalyzed by chloromycin dehalogenated biosynthesis, low toxicity, as a broad spectrum bacteriostatic agent, high concentration has bactericidal effect. In addition to common gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria and anaerobic bacteria, most Rickettsiella, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, atypical Mycobacterium, spirochaeta are also sensitive to this product. The effect of this product on gram-positive bacteria is better than gram-negative bacteria, but enterococcus is resistant to it.
Tetracycline can be used to treat chronic inflammatory cells. Tetracycline derivatives can also induce apoptosis, such as osteoclasts, T lymphocytes, and cultured monocytes and macrophages.
Use and synthesis method:
Biochemical research, it is a broad spectrum antibiotic extracted from the culture medium of Streptothrix fissiformis, and its antibacterial spectrum, antibacterial action and use are basically the same as tetracycline and aureomycin.
Physical shape:
Light yellow to yellow crystalline powder. Melting point 181-182℃ (decomposition).
Solubility:
Soluble in alkaline solution, reference solubility 10mg/ml 1M NaOH solution, slightly soluble in alcohol, very slightly soluble in water. Stable in air, darkens in sunlight, and is easily destroyed in alkali solutions.
Note :
For cell experiments, after dissolution, it is necessary to filter the bacteria with a disposable needle filter.
