Lisamine Rhodamine B, also known as Sulfonyl Rhodamine B (SRB), is a bright pink aminomethoxazole dye. SRB is soluble in water and ethanol, with a fluorescence of orange red. Stable in nature and can be stored for a long time. The maximum absorption wavelength is 570nm, and the maximum emission wavelength is 600nm.
Product Usage:
Sulfonyl Rhodamine B (SRB) assay is widely used for in vitro cytotoxicity screening. SRB binds to the protein components of cells in a stoichiometric manner. Therefore, the amount of dye extracted from stained cells is directly proportional to the cell mass. SRB can also be used for cell density measurement and fluorescence staining technology.
