Product introduction

Uracil is an organic base, one of the four major bases in RNA, a major pyrimidine component of ribonucleic acid, and a component of various uridylic acids. It is used in biochemical studies.

Physical properties

White or light yellow needle-like crystals. Melting point 338℃, soluble in hot water, soluble in dilute ammonia water, slightly soluble in cold water, insoluble in ethanol.
