Determination of Significance:
Myricetin, also known as bayberry cortin, is the main chemical component of the bark and leaves of the bayberry family, and is also found in natural plants such as onions, berries, and tea. Modern pharmacological studies have shown that myricetin has a wide range of pharmacological activities, and has various effects such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-tumor, hypoglycemic and hepatoprotective.
Measurement Principle:
Laccase can decompose substrate ABTS to produce ABTS free radicals. Its absorption coefficient at 420nm is much higher than that of ABTS. Laccase activity can be calculated by measuring the increasing rate of ABTS radicals.
