Most products of Solarbio small molecule compound series are stable at room temperature, and the ice boxes are used to prevent unexpected situations that may occur during transportation. Therefore, when you receive the product, if the ice boxes have already melted, it will not affect its quality. Please rest assured to use. For some sensitive and unstable products, we will make special treatment when the products are sent out to ensure the quality of the products you receive.
During transportation, some products may be attached to the mouth or wall of the tubes. Please centrifuge at low speed (≤1000rpm) before opening the cap to make the product gather at the bottom of the tube, and then verify or use it to reduce product loss.
*Solarbio small molecule compound series products, if not clearly marked as sterile products, are non-sterile packaging, if your experiment has aseptic requirements, please do pre-treatment in advance.
*Most products of Solarbio small molecule compound series can be dissolved with DMSO, or we provide DMSO stock solution products. DMSO itself has strong antibacterial effect, and generally the reagent dissolved in DMSO is regarded as sterile solution by default and operate as a sterile solution as usual. If your experiment requires strict sterility, it is recommended to use organic membrane filter less than 0.22μm for filtration sterilization. High temperature and autoclave sterilization should be avoided, otherwise irreversible effects will be caused to the product.
*Suitable solvent should be selected for preparation of stock solution according to experimental requirements. Generally, the official website provides solubility in three solvents: water, DMSO, and ethanol for your reference. Hygroscopic DMSO has a significant effect on the solubility of the product, please use a newly opened DMSO. *If you need the solvents or concentrations which are not provided in the instructions, you need to verify the dissolution information by yourself or refer to the relevant literature. In case of insolubility, water bath heating, ultrasonic, shaking or adding suitable cosolvent can be used to assist dissolution according to the nature of the product. *Solubility information can be found in the instructions or on Solarbio website.
*Generally, most compounds are prepared in stock solutions with water or DMSO and diluted with culture medium, buffer, or sterile water. During the process of diluting the stock solution, precipitation may occur, which is a normal phenomenon. Ultrasonic, shaking, water bath heating and other methods can be used to assist dissolution according to the product properties and applications. *It is recommended that the dilution process is carried out in stages to avoid the rapid concentration change resulting in the precipitation of the compound.
When diluting the stock solution prepared with DMSO, ensure that the final concentration of DMSO in the working solution is less than 1‰, and set the corresponding concentration of DMSO blank group at the same time. (Most cells can tolerate 1‰ concentration of DMSO, but some cells are very sensitive to DMSO, so it is recommended to conduct DMSO gradient detection before the experiment)
*The stock solution prepared with DMSO can also be diluted with normal saline, PBS or other buffer. Some products have very low solubility in water. The stock solution prepared with DMSO may precipitate during the dilution process, so solubilizers can be added to increase the solubility such as Tween80(IT9000), corn oil (IC9000), sodium carboxymethylcellulose (IS9000/IS9001) and PEG400(IP9000), etc. In order to exclude the toxicity of solvent to animals, it is recommended to set the corresponding concentration of solvent control group. *It is recommended that you use a completely dissolved clear solution to avoid experimental errors or irreversible effects on laboratory animals. Under normal circumstances, suspended turbidity solution can be used for oral and intraperitoneal injection, which will not affect product activity, but may affect absorption, resulting in a large error.
